Spokane, Washington. Danielle and Nathan live in Spokane, not where I live. So nine months ago when they wanted to talk wedding photography, I suggested that we video chat. This was way back before FaceTime™ had swept the nation; strangers then weren’t used to making eye contact via that great commingler, the Internet. But we arranged it anyway. I set up a laptop on my kitchen table and hung a photo behind me because bare walls can seem creepy. And the whole thing went flawlessly. I hope this doesn’t sound trite, but I love making new friends every weekend.
