Boise, Idaho. In about the tenth email she sent me before we even signed a contract, Alyssa started referring to herself as “the persistent bride from Idaho.” I replied with a bunch of “:)”s, and thought to myself, “holy crap, she is persistent.” Turns out the same could be said for the entire wedding party. I watched in awe as every last one of them, completely and irrefutably sober, filled the dance floor, getting jiggy with Jay-Z song after Jay-Z song. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Thank god for your persistence, Alyssa and Randall. Your portraits are some of my personal faves. I’m so glad I got to shoot with you and your crew.

I went cr@zy on this one. The @ symbol means I did so on the internet. Heidy and Andrew had a two-day wedding and it was beautiful, so there are a ton of photos. They started with a dinner in the evening on the lawn of the 100-year-old family farm. Besides the other cool stuff, mashed potatoes were served in wine glasses. Heidy’s idea. They planned on a sunset ceremony but ran a little late, so guests busted out their party favor match boxes and lit their party favor candles and I busted out some strobes. The ceremony was Buddhist and administered by a friend of theirs. It was touching. After the ceremony: cupcakes and candy apples. The next day Heidy and Andrew hosted a reception at the Linen Building in Downtown Boise. I love loft spaces for receptions. Andrew sang to Heidy before their dance. If I were on The Arsenio Hall Show, I would describe Andrew’s performance as off the hook. Only the guys attempted to hide their tears. Everything was so wonderfully planned and Heidy and Andrew so delightful, I felt blessed to be there. Brandon shot with me and some of his off the hook shots are shown here.

Bryan,
I can’t thank you and Brandon enough for the magnificent work! Heidy looks so beautiful. Thank you for capturing the moments that may fade from memory in time. I don’t get to see my family often and for me to now have these photos to look back on is priceless. Dare I say I teared up at work? Nay, I shan’t. -

RAINBOW FINISH? This is too good to be true.
I don’t know how I feel about this side scroll business yet. Change is kind of hard for me.
From breathtaking to hilarious, I know they will treasure the depth and breadth of emotion captured that day! Congrats, Alyssa & Randall!
Bryan…
Thank you so much for these pictures. I am amazed when I look at them. I am so glad I was the “persistent bride” because these pictures capture every moment of our wonderful day for us to cherish a lifetime. You caught every detail of our personalities and put them in the essence of our photos! I have looked at them at least once a day and relive those moments through these pictures! You are an amazing, creative, and fun to work with photographer and we were privileged to have been photographed by you! Thank you so much! May God bless all that you do (call us if you’re ever in Boston!)
