Sandpoint, Idaho. Hey, good news! I’m posting again. Pneumonia knocked me out for a little bit, contracted I think during my 12-hour standby at La Guardia. From my gate I witnessed the 5:30 am re-supply at Dunkin’ Donuts, the 8:30 am rush, and nodded goodbye toward an empty, light-filled pastry case at 6:00 pm. Businessmen like jelly-filleds. Moms like eclairs.

Nevermind me though. I was glad that I had Bonnie’s and Joe’s wedding for my first one back. I love Sandpoint for the view, the mood, and the fact that at every wedding I run into old clients. I’ve already run into Bonnie and Joe at another wedding this summer. Sandpoint keeps on giving, and I’m glad.

Bonnie and Joe got married at a castle. $15 coupon for your next wedding if you can find a castle near Sandpoint.

Sandpoint, ID. Now, a few notes: I included too many pictures in this post. I know it. But editing is a discipline as well as a skill, and right now I lack the force of will to tell some of these pictures that they aren’t making the cut. The tree triptych stays—damn the consequences. Next, Kirsten and Mac are exactly the type of people I’d like to have a second beer with—preferably at the Tervan, where the two had their first date a couple years ago on what’s become their anniversary. And lastly, Tennis (the band) owned that crowd. Two renditions of Toto’s “Africa” only got the people excited.
